TU fai la differenza!
Remember that YOU make a difference.
Never try to mince words: there are none.
My question is: you would have done the same choice that I have done?

At a charity dinner for a school that
care children with learning problems, the father of a student
made a speech that would never be forgotten by any of these
.
After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he made a
 question

'When it is reached by outside interference, nature does its work perfectly
. Unfortunately, my son Shay can not learn things
in the way they do other children.
can not understand things as other deeply. Where is the natural order of things
when it comes to my child ' The public
 the question became silent.
The father continued: 'I think that when it comes to a child like Shay, physically and mentally handicapped
, presents a great opportunity to make
human nature and is in the way other people treat that child
'.
At that point he began to tell a story:
Shay and his father walked past a park where children were
 Shay knew were playing baseball.
Shay asked, 'Do you think those guys will play?'
Shay's father knew that most of them did not want to play as a team in
Shay, but he also knew that if he had been allowed to play
, this would give his son hope to
be accepted by others at the expense of his disability, something that
 Shay had immense needs. Shay
The father approached one of the guys on the field and asked (not expecting much
)
 if his son could play.
The boy looked around for approval and said: 'We are losing

six points and the game is in the eighth inning. I think it can enter the
team: we will enter the ninth '
Shay joined the team bench and with a huge smile, put on

 the team jersey.
The father looked at the scene with tears in his eyes and with a sense of

 heat in the chest.
The boys saw the father's joy that his son had accepted the idea
 other.
At the end of the eighth inning, Shay's team took some points but was still behind by three points
.
beginning of the ninth inning, Shay put on his glove and went into the field.
Although no shot came towards him, he was ecstatic just
the idea of \u200b\u200bplaying in a baseball field and with a huge smile that went from ear to ear
greeted his father in the stands.
At the end of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored a new point: now,

with two outs and the bases loaded you could even think of winning and Shay was charged
to be the next at bat.
At this point, do they let Shay bat even if it meant losing

 the game? Incredibly
 let him beat.
Everyone knew that was impossible for Shay did not know

even hold the bat, let alone hit a ball.
However, as Shay put on the plate, the pitcher, realizing that

the team was giving up the victory in exchange for that magical moment for
Shay, walked a few steps and pulled the ball so flat and aiming

Shay because he could take it with the bat.
The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily to destination missing
 the ball.
Again, the shooter walked a few steps to gently pull the ball to Shay
. As the fire reached him
Shay swung and hit the ball this time
 returned slowly to the shooter.
But the game was not finished yet.
At that point, the batter went to pick up the ball:
could give it to 'man on first base and Shay was eliminated

and the game would end. Instead
 ...
The shooter throws the ball much more than the man at first base and
so that no other team could pick it up.
Everyone from the stands and all the components of the two teams
began to shout: 'Shay Run to first! Run to first! ' Shay
Never in his life had run so far, but he did and so
 reached first base.
reached first base with wide-eyed with emotion.
At that point, everyone yelled, 'Run to second base!'
Shay ran to catch his breath until the second out of breath.
When Shay reached second base on the opposing team
had now recovered the ball ..
The youngest boy of age who had taken the ball and then
knew he could win and become the hero of the game, he could pull the ball
man at second base but did as the shooter before he launched the
intentionally much more than the man at third base and
so that no other team could pick it up.
Everyone was shouting: 'Bravo Shay, so go! Now run! '
Shay reached third base because a man from the opposing team
reached out and helped him by turning in the right direction.
When Shay reached third base all shouted with joy.
Then all shouted, 'Run to first, back to base !!!!'
And he did: alone again at first base, where all rose in the air

and made the hero of the game.
'On that day,' said the father crying 'the boys from both teams helped bring
in this world a great gift of true love and humanity
 '..
Shay did not live until the following summer.
E 'dead after the winter but it has never forgotten being the hero
the game and making his father proud and happy ..
never forgot the embrace of his mother when she came home and told her he had played and won.
AND NOW A LITTLE NOTE TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY: In Internet
we exchange a lot of games and jokes mail without
these make us think, but when it comes to spreading things

on the life choices we hesitate.
The crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely in the cyber space, but
public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in
 our schools and workplaces.
ALL WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We all have thousands of opportunities every day to help
'natural course of things' to happen.
Every interaction between people, even the most unexpected, offers us an opportunity
:
spend a warm spark of love and humanity or
give up this opportunity and leave the world a little 'cooler?
A wise man once said every society is judged by how
 is especially the less fortunate.
May this day be a bright day.
